The Jackfruit Tree is a fast growing evergreen and has beautiful large, dark green, glossy leaves. The Jackfruit Tree produces the largest tree grown fruit in the world! The fruits tastes like a mix of pineapple, apple, mango and banana all at once, the flesh is also used in curries and savoury Asian meals.

Soil Conditions

Performs best grown in well draining soil but can be tolerant of poorer quality soils also in saying that, they don't tolerate water logged soils.

Water Requirements

Water regularly and well. However, can tolerate a small drought.

The Jackfruit Tree is best/ effortlessly grown in humid, tropical regions but it can tolerate light frosts.
