Also known as Makrut Lime, the Kaffir Lime is most commonly used in Asian Dishes. Both the heavily wrinkled/ dimpled looking fruit and leaves are edible and full of flavour. The Kaffir Lime Tree is quite happy to live in a large pot planter on the patio, so if you don't have the space in the yard, this is a great option for you to have access to your own fresh produce as well as a gorgeous, glossy green foliaged plant to look at. The leaves are quite unique, with a figure 8 shape.
