King Fern- Angiopteris Evecta
King Fern- Angiopteris Evecta
Angioteris Evecta
Commonly known as the King Fern or Giant Fern. It is renowned for having the largest fronds among ferns. In tropical conditions, the fronds of the King Fern can reach an impressive length of 5 to 7 meters. The King Fern thrives in rich, moist soil. It requires consistently moist conditions to grow well. Adequate water availability is crucial for its survival and healthy frond development. Additionally, it prefers a habitat with high humidity and partial shade, as it is adapted to the understory of tropical forests.
Whilst the centre (trunk if you will) of the plant remains close to the ground, The fern's impressive fronds make it a captivating addition to gardens, parks, or large indoor spaces with suitable growing conditions.
