Syngonium Podophyllum
The Syngonium Podophyllum, also known as arrowhead plant is from the Aroid family and is a well loved, popular easy-to-care-for house plant. Very common to be found growing in a jar/ bottle of water hydroponically, the Syngonium 'batik' is a stunning specimen. Their are many variations of syngoniums, keep your eye out for more added to the website in the future.
Light Requirements
Moderate lighting, Tolerant of sun/ shade.
Soil Conditions
The syngonium is very tolerant when it comes to soil, but well draining will always have best results.
Water Requirements
Water well then allow to dry before watering again. More regularly in Summer, less often in Winter months.
Full Size
The Syngonium is a creeping vine, you can cut it when it becomes too long and propagate back into the pot for a fuller, bushier look. If left to creep it could reach up to 2 metres long/ high
Temperature
The Syngonium does well in any household temperature, but preferably warm and certainly not outside in a frost.
