Tradescantia Pallida

Tradescantia Pallida/ Purple Heart also known as Inchplant or wandering jew is a species of spiderwort. Very easy to grow and fast spreading, it makes a great colourful ground cover, hanging pot plant etc. Many different colour variations to collect.

Full sun/ Part shade

Soil Conditions

Not a fussy plant, but well draining is always best in our opinion.

Water Requirements

Water regularly, keep moist

Tradescantia will continue to spread and grow outwards although vertically it only grows to about 20cm tall

Temperature

Prefers warm climate, or inside most Australian homes
